  • This workshop, presented at the July 16, 2026 NYSED Early Learning Institute, was facilitated by Dr. Diane Wynne, Executive Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Tanya Amodio-Kovacs, Supervisor in °µÍøTV Programs in the Office of Early Learning. Participants explored how culturally responsive practices and policies support the development of the attributes of New York State’s Portrait of a Graduate from an early age and how fostering these skills promotes success in school and beyond.
